We appreciate your interest in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we provide detailed information how we handle your data.

Collecting of general information

When you access our homepage, general information will be collected. This information (server logfiles) contain for example the web browser you use, your operating system, your internet service provider´s domain name and similar. No details specific to you can be deduced from these informations which are used by us solely for internal system-related and statistical purposes. They are technically necessary to provide you with the requested website content and are required when using the internet.

SSL Encryption

For the safety of your data we use the current technology status of encryption methods (for example SSL) over HTTPS.

Videochats

We may invite you to join us using our Open-Source-Software Jitsi Meet to establish web conferences. The used Sever for our Jitsi Meet Instance is hosted with Hetzner Online GmbH and located in the EU.

The installation ist configured not to save any data other than those required for the session or for debug of warnings and severe issues.

Jitsi Meet conferences are end to end encrypted using state of the art technologies like WebRTC for data, Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) for media streams and Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP). Since WebRTC only works for peer to peer connections, the servers needs to decrypt video chat content for more than two participants. As such the encrypted video data is available on the server during a multi participant conference. This is why we want to host our own conferences on our server. As host we can make sure that we do not save any of this conference data. All your Audio, Video and Chat or Screensharing content will only be cached for the online session as required for the sharing and deleted as soon as the session it is over.

Data collection and use of data for contract handling

We collect only the personal information you voluntarily provide in connection with your order or when you make contact with us (for example by contact form or E-mail), in particular name, address, phone number and E-mail address. The data will only be used for the setup of the contract and processing of your enquiries and deleted after the implementation of the contract has been fully concluded and the mandatory storage periods defined in tax and commercial legislation have passed. Deletion will be done unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or if it is legally permitted to delete it.

Use of data for postal advertising and your right of objection

In addition, we also reserve the right to store the data we received within the contracting relationship: name, address, and - wherever we received these - your academic degree, title, year of birth and your professional-, branch- or business name in combined lists and to use them for our own marketing purposes (e.g for mailings). You can revoke your consent to this type of use of your data at any time by sending us an email to our data protection officer listed below.
